VENEER SOLUTIONS LLC and FURWA GmbH have joined forces to combine US and German manufacturing solutions for high quality veneer edgebanding. This joint venture provides solutions for the customized manufacturing of unfinished, pre-finished and thick veneer edgebanding from one source. This partnership merges the excellence of Furwa’s German engineering and Veneer Solutions’s manufacturing facility in Clarksville, Texas.

In 1974, FURWA GmbH/PWG developed the manufacturing process of continuous veneer edgebanding. In addition, they pioneered the first lacquering plant for veneer rolls. FURWA has provided technical expertise, proven production practices and state of the art equipment to VENEER SOLUTIONS for the production of standard fleece backed and sanded veneer edgebanding. FURWA will manufacture the pre-finished and thick veneer edgebanding for VENEER SOLUTIONS in their facility in Walkertshofen, Germany.

This partnership moves VENEER SOLUTIONS from a domestic manufacture of standard fleece backed and sanded veneer edgebanding to a full line supplier capable of meeting the diverse edgebanding requirements of even the most progressive companies.
